Siding And Electrical Rough

The siding guys were here and finished all the siding that they could.  Since the patio wasn't poured, the last window wasn't installed and the porch isn't correctly supported they couldn't finish everything.

Last night and today we finished the electrical rough in.  We got the new panel feeder into the main panel.  The AC Condensing unit is tied into the main panel as well.

Since the patio door was installed opposite of the plans, we had to get another switch box on the other side of the door.  This called for some creative routing and box placement.

We added boxes and feeds for switches and lights above the bed.

We finished the conduit run to the outside JBox with LBs so that we can pull the wires out to the patio wall.

The GC stopped by a few times and we discussed using a different material than siding to put on the walls inside the screened in porch.  It makes sense since siding is tough to deal with and won't look as good inside the porch.

Our neighbors were upset about all of the water and sediment pouring onto their lawn from the 4" of rain we got yesterday.  They were very nice and polite about it, but it isn't right that we had all of our roof water running onto their lawn since we don't have gutters on the back half of our house.

I told the GC and he said he would put up a silt fence and talk to them and fix any issues.  Hopefully he actually comes through and takes care of it.

Pictures of the progress are below:
